This week, two books by two writer friends of mine are on sale for $.99! The first is Drowning in You by Rebecca Berto.
Secretly crushingCrushed by a tragedy
Charlee May's been crushing on Dexter Hollingworth since she was fifteen. Five years later, a horrific skiing disaster at Mason's Ski Lift Resort leaves her millionaire dad critically injured and her mom dead at the hands of Dexter operating the lifts. Charlee is suddenly the sole caretaker for her little brother while their world falls apart.
Dexter couldn't be more different from Charlee. He's tattooed, avoids exclusive relationships and his Dad has a fair share of illegal dealings. With Dexter's reputation, almost everyone believes he planned the Mason's skiing disaster.
And after all these years he's still crushing on Charlee May, the girl who's too good for him.
When this cruel twist of fate ties Charlee's family and Dexter's reputation together, Charlee and Dexter wonder if their feelings are reciprocated, while Dexter discovers his dad is trying to steal the May's millionaire fortune.
But like an addiction, one look, one touch, one taste--they're hooked no matter the consequences.
Disclaimer: Recommended for mature readers due to sexual content and crude language. And the other one, you know well from my previous posts. It's Girl With Guitar by Caisey Quinn. I've posted the synopsis here on this site many times, so instead I'm going to post part of a 5 star review by a customer on Amazon:
WOW! I was completely caught off guard by how wonderful this book was. It captivated me and for an entire day I was glued to my seat until I finished which didn't happen until the early morning hours. Being a huge fan of the ABC show Nashville this book was right up my alley. Kylie wants what pretty much every human being wants out of life. Her dreams to come true. When she sets out to make it happen after losing her father and being kicked out of her house by her stepmother she ends up Nashville where she meets Trace Corbin. From the instant Kylie takes the stage during her scheduled performance at an open mic night I was wrapped up in the excitement of watching her wow the crowd. It felt as if I was actually a part of the scene. Of course she chose a Trace Corbin song to rock and OF COURSE this night of all nights is when he's in the audience watching. Everything changes for Kylie when they end up singing a duet together.
This book also contains mature content. These sales are for a limited time, so act now!
